Wilma Wilcox

February 24, 1932 — February 11, 2024

Wilma Louise Wilcox of Fenton, Missouri, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, having reached the age of 91 years, 11 months and 18 days. Wilma was born on February 24, 1932, to Albert and Laura German. On September 30, 1950, Wilma was united in marriage to Hugo Shelby Wilcox and four children were born unto this union.

Those who remain to treasure her memory include her four children: Linda Bushnell (husband, Scott), Velva Davidter, Ken Wilcox, and Tina Wilcox; and eight grandchildren. Wilma is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother, Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hugo on November 21, 2017; son-in-law, Chris Davidter; and three siblings: Norman, Pauline, and Wanda.

Wilma's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was an involved and devoted member of the First Assembly of God of Potosi and Faith Assembly of God of Fenton, where her gentle spirit and unwavering belief were an inspiration to many. Her faith guided her actions and was evident in the way she lived her life every day. Wilma loved reading her Bible, solving cross word puzzles and crafting with beads. In early years, Wilma enjoyed her local travels with Hugo. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Wilma's life was a testament to her kind, generous, and faith-filled spirit.

A time of Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of her Funeral Service at 11 am. Musical selections will be: "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be", "I Can Only Imagine", and "Everybody Will Be Happy Over There". DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served the family of Ms. Wilma Wilcox.
