Trevor Miguel Robinson Jr., age 19, departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was born on May 16, 2007, to Trevor Robinson Sr. and the late Mary Rebecca “Becky” Politte.
Trevor will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh. He was always trying to lighten the mood and bring a smile to the faces of others. Trevor had a positive outlook on life and had a special way of turning even difficult conversations toward something more hopeful and uplifting.
Though Trevor was large in stature, anyone who truly knew him knew that his heart was even bigger. He cared deeply for the people in his life and was always willing to help those around him. Trevor had a special way of building others up and making them feel loved. He often sent messages to his friends and family just to remind them how much they meant to him. His kindness and gentle nature were just a few of the many things that made Trevor so special to those who knew and loved him.
Trevor worked hard to make positive changes in his life and was incredibly proud of the things he accomplished along the way. Graduating high school in Potosi was one of his proudest accomplishments.
Anyone who knew Trevor knew that food was always on his mind—he was always hungry and always wanting to eat. He was never shy about letting you know he was hungry or asking what there was to eat. It was one of those things about Trevor that made everyone smile, and Chinese food was one of his favorites.
Trevor’s memory will be forever cherished by his father, Trevor Robinson Sr., and his sister, Jerrecca Stevenson. He will also be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Lela, whom he loved very much; his best friend, Chris Miskell, whom Trevor considered a brother; Corina LaChance (Alex Johnson) and their her son, Ja’Cory; Chris Miskell Sr.; and his bonus family who loved him dearly: Misty Fowler (Donald) and their children, Hailey and Tyson; Lacey Mersinger (Phil) and their children, Alyssa, Tania, Isabella, Madalynn, and Macklin; Kim Allen; Karen Fitzwater (PeeWee) and Jamie Fitzwater.
Trevor brought laughter, kindness, patience, and positivity into the lives of so many people. His gentle spirit, big heart, and the way he made others feel loved and valued will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 4 PM until the time of his memorial service at 6 PM, held at DeClue Funeral Home.
