Theresa Ann Vaughn of St. James, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Phelps Health Hospital, having reached the age of 69. Theresa was born on April 2, 1957, in Farmington, Missouri, a daughter of the late Ralph Edward Smith and Peggy Joyce (White) Smith.

Theresa will be remembered by her three sons, Darrell Dontrich and Hope Litton, Greg Dontrich and Jackie Kennedy, and Daniel Dontrich and Bonita; her four grandchildren, Anthony Dontrich, Vivian Dontrich, Nate Dontrich, and Juilian Dontrich; her three siblings, Ralph Smith Jr. and wife, Sherry, Lori Swanson and husband, Gunner, and Sheila Smith; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.  A burial will be held at a later date at Hopewell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
