Susan Marie (Lamphier) Adkins, affectionately known as "Susie," of Potosi, Missouri, was born on May 29, 1967, a daughter of Lois (Taylor) Wade and Gilbert Lamphier. She departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 59.

Susie was raised in the Hopewell and Potosi area, where she spent her entire life. She had a free spirit and lived life on her own terms, always carrying big dreams and aspirations for the future. She found joy in the simple things—spending time outdoors, visiting frog ponds, watching birds, and admiring the beauty of nature. An animal lover through and through, Susie had a special place in her heart for all of God's creatures.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her loving mother, Lois Wade; her three children, Jonell Puff and husband Steve, Corey Lamphier, and Ashley Schumacher and husband Chris; three beloved grandchildren, Alex, Arien, and Sullevyn; her siblings, Sherrye Keys and husband Jamie, Allen Lamphier, and Kim Wampler and husband Micheal; along with many dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Harmon; her father, Gilbert Lamphier; her stepfather, Dee Wade; her nephew, Mitchell Wood; and her grandparents.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
