Sherry Ann Ramsey

Sherry Ann Ramsey, age 64, of St. Clair, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 6, 2025. Sherry was born on January 28, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, a daughter to the late Billy and Shirley Ann (Timmons) McClain. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose love for life touched everyone who knew her.

Sherry had a creative spirit and found great joy in crocheting and watching craft shows. She loved relaxing with a good audiobook, playing games on her phone, and enjoying a quiet moment with a cigarette in her hand. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the casino, where she loved playing the slot machines.

More than anything, Sherry cherished time spent with her family. She looked forward to family trips—especially their most recent visit to Branson and the aquarium in Springfield. Some of her happiest memories were made camping at Woodland Lakes, where she enjoyed being outdoors, playing in the water, and simply being surrounded by the people she loved most.

She is survived by her children: David Lindke Jr., Brian (Heather) Lindke, and Billy Ray Hatched (Shelly Snider); ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five siblings. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Billy McClain; mother, Shirley McClain; her late husband, David Lindke; and one brother.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at DeClue Memorial Chapel, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 12:00 noon.

Arrangements have been respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
