Sarah Minor

Sarah Elizabeth Minor of Potosi, Missouri was born on September 7, 1958 in St. Louis, a daughter to Cecelia (Jackson) Tanner and the late Joseph W. Tanner. On January 29, 1977, Sarah was united in marriage to Louis Minor at Fairview Baptist Church and they shared forty-two years together. Sarah entered eternal rest on Monday, October 28, 2019 having reached sixty-one years of age.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Louis "Tugboat" Minor; three sons: Christopher (Patrizia) Minor, Jason (Timberlee) Minor, and Jeremy (Lisa) Minor; daughter, Samantha Minor; mother, Cecelia Tanner; four siblings: Michael (Jerri) Tanner, Robert Tanner, Alvin (Melissa) Tanner, and Rebecca Davis; seven grandchildren: Christopher Minor II, Alberto Whitaker, Anthony (Lana) Whitaker, Kaylyn Swinson, Brooklyn Snodgrass, Augustus Minor, and Alexander Minor; two great-grandchildren: Elise Rose Whitaker and Isabella Grace Whitaker; sister-in-law, Reva Coffman; and many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Sarah is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Tanner.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 2, 2019, beginning at 9:00 AM.

A funeral service for Sarah will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bob Thurman officiating. Interment will be held following the service at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
