Rose Anna Janusweski

Rose Anna Janusweski of Desloge, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on August 25, 1991, she was the daughter of Julie Elsey and the late Joseph Janusweski. She found joy in the simple things—riding four-wheelers, mushroom hunting, fishing, swimming, rock hunting, and anything that allowed her to be outdoors. Her love for nature was only matched by her love for her children, family, and friends. 

Rose shared her life for 19  years with her partner, Steven Cain, and together they had two children, Alleigh and Trenton Cain. She is also survived by her loving mother, Julie Elsey, and stepfather, Bill Govero; her siblings, Brittany Elsey, Dillon Janusweski, and Hailey Govero; her aunt, Cindy (Janusweski) Howard, husband, Scott; and her cherished nieces and nephews: Peyton, Emma, Layne, Saylor, Logan, and Jayce. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Rose was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Janusweski, and her cousin, Nick Elsey.

Rose's faith played a role in her life; she was a proud graduate of Life Savers Ministries, where she formed unbreakable bonds with her "sisters." Rose found comfort in her favorite scripture, Luke 1:45 – “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her.”

In honor of Rose's life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Payton's Place ~ A private family Cemetery in Cadet, Missouri.
