Robert Missey

Robert Lloyd Missey of Old Mines, Missouri, was born on February 26, 1954 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a son of the late Gerald and Laura Missey. Robert departed this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 having reached the age of 67 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his three children: Kimberly Mesey and Fiancé Chad LeBeau, Robert Missey (wife, Terri), and Jason Missey and Fiancé Amanda Bequette; eight grandchildren: Sydni (Andrew) Gray; Cameron Mesey, Madison Mesey, Payton Missey, Kohl Bequette, Gavin Missey, Lilly Missey, and Mason Missey; one great-grandchild, Owen Kennon; sister-in-law, Sharon Missey; and special niece, Diane Wade. Robert is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear family members.

In addition to Roberts parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Debbie Missey; and five siblings: Gene Coulter, Wilma Lyons, Margie Hager, Everette Skaggs, and Glenn “ChawPappy” Missey.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 10:30 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 1 PM. Pastor Matt Woods will officiate the service.

Interment will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery, Old Mines, MO. Robert will receive full military honors presented by the Unites States Army and VFW Post 6996.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mr. Missey's family.
