Robert Belfield of Belgrade passed away at his residence, December 22, 2007, having reached the age of 75. He was born April 12, 1932 at Belgrade, a son of the late Frederick and Ida (Sheppard) Belfield.
Survivors are his wife Lurie (Thomas) Belfield; chosen daughter Clarice Buckley of Belgrade; sisters Beulah Lefler of St. Genevieve, Jewel Brown of Mineral Point; sisters in-law Beatrice Belfield of Festus, Mae Dockins and husband Carrel of Tennessee, Mary Martin and husband Jim of Stockton, CA, Violet Jacobs of Fresno, CA, Marie Warden of Terre DeLac; brothers in-law Harvey Thomas of Salem, Elwood Thomas and wife Linda of Belgrade; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation 5 to 8 Pm Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at the Britton Funeral Home, Potosi. Funeral service 2 PM Thursday at the Britton Chapel. Interment in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
