Randy Eugene Warden, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 63. Born on November 25, 1960, in Ironton, Missouri, Randy was the son of Sharon (Camillo) Warden and the late Merlyn Eugene Warden.

Randy’s legacy is most greatly remembered through his love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 40 years, Jackie Warden; three children: Daniel Wayne Warden (wife, Kayla), Hillary Akers Mosier, and Amber Renee Akers. Randy took great joy in his five grandchildren: Breanna Akers, Catie Mosier, Devon Warden, Skyler Warden, and Lane Warden, as well as his great-granddaughter, Everleigh Rose. He is also survived by his loving mother, Sharon Warden; brothers Mark Warden (wife, Kelly), and Chris Warden, (wife, Julie); brother-in-law Danny Carter and friend Linda Crocker; and sister in law Tina Carter. He held dear his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, all of whom will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Warden; maternal grandparents, Oliver and Virginia Camillo; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Mary Catherine Carter; his sister-in-law, Vicki Carter; and brother in law Francis Ray Carter.

In addition to his family commitments, Randy was an avid outdoorsman in his younger years, enjoying hunting and fishing. He treasured the special times spent with his wife and father-in-law, Floyd on the boat. Randy was passionate about cars of all sorts. At one point, Randy operated a body shop providing both autobody work as well as mechanics. He found joy in watching television, favoring sci fi movies, documentaries, and college basketball.

Randy dedicated 35 years of his life to Republic Services until health challenges prompted his retirement. His life will be remembered for the love and kindness he shared with those around him. His memory will be held in the hearts of his family and friends.

No formal services will be held at this time. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
