Peggy Swan

Peggy Swan of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, having reached the age of 84. Peggy was born on February 21, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Dena (Mark) McAnally, Donna Vassallo, and David (Lynne) Pashia; her six grandchildren, Christina McAnally, William (Joe) Vassallo, Luke Pashia, Dustin (Bailey) Pashia, Dylan (Jalynn) Pashia, and Ethan Pashia; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, LaVerne Costo; stepfather, William Costo; sister, Joan Costo; and brother, Anthony Costo.

During her time living in Florida, Peggy attended St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed being part of the St. Patrick's Council of Catholic Women. After returning to Missouri, she enjoyed spending time at the Sayers Senior Center and attending St. James Catholic Church whenever she was able.

Per Peggy's wishes, there will be no formal services held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
