Linda Charboneau

Linda Marie Charboneau of DeSoto, Missouri, was born on May 11, 1947, in Richwoods, Missouri, a daughter of the late Theodore William “TW” King and Nellie (Day) King. Linda passed away on June 8, 2024, having reached the age of 77.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her daughter, Laura DeClue and Fiancé Matt Helms; five grandchildren: Tony Charboneau, Thomas Charboneau (wife, Tara), Ricky DeClue, Karen DeClue, and Matthew Helms; five great grandchildren: Tommy, Jason, Desi, Hunter, Austin, and Lane; and sister-in-law, Mildred Martin.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Harold Charboneau on November 20, 2020; son, Harold Lawrence Charboneau; infant brother, TW King Jr; siblings: Martha Lee Schrum, Carl (Janice) King, and Stanley King.

Linda absolutely loved everything fishing—being outdoors at a lake or river fishing. Her favorite moments however were spending time with her grand babies. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music.

A Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 1 p.m., held at DeClue Funeral Home. Elder Mike Jarvis will officiate her service. Interment will follow at St. Stephens Catholic Cemetery in Richwoods, Missouri.
