Leanes ?Rabbit? Partney, 72, Blackwell died September 1, 2008 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors are his wife Ruth Partney; Son Tony Partney and wife Dana of Blackwell; Extended family Rodney, Tammy and Kyler Dean of Mineral Point and Scotty Bourbon; Sisters Lena Partney and Charles Sansoucie of Blackwell, Wanda Sansoucie and husband Rosco of Desoto; Brother in laws Buck Brewer and wife Edna of Tennesse and Lincoln Brewer and wife Norma of Illinois; Grandchildren Sarah and Charlie Partney.
Visitation 4:30-8 on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Funeral Services 1 pm Thursday at the Britton Chapel.
