Karl P. Littell, 68, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Regional One in Memphis, TN. He as born July 3, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, to the late John and Shelba (Jenkins) LeClaire.

Karl was a proud military veteran having served his country as a member of the United States Navy. This is a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty. His whole family, who referred to him as “Sonny”, shared in the joy and responsibility of raising him. Hunting and fishing were woven into the fabric of his upbringing, becoming lifelong passions that connected him to the people he loved most. Known for his strong personality and unwavering loyalty, Karl lived with a deep love for his family and wife. He was the kind of man who stood firm in his beliefs and showed his affection through action and presence.

On May 19, 2007, Karl married Jennifer Swindle. She survives. Also surviving are his son, John Littell Aston of Fredricktown, MO; two daughters, Rachel Todd of Ridgecrest, CA, and Jennifer Littell of Poplar Bluff, MO; a stepdaughter, Heather Kopp of Doniphan; a sister Cynthia Littell of Doniphan; and a brother, Steve Littell, also of Doniphan. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, William Todd, Aubry Todd, Christian Todd, Grayson Littell and Lylah Rhoads, and a great-grandchild, Tobias Todd with his second great-grandchild on the way.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 9, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Serra McCabe will be officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 beginning at 3 PM held at Jenkins Cemetery in Belgrade, Missouri, under the direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
