June Dickinson

Esther June Dickinson of Mineral Point, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the age of 85. June as family and friends knew her, was born on March 13, 1935 in Mitchell, Missouri, a daughter of the late Ralph Smith and the late Henrietta (Forrester) Smith.

On August 15, 1953 June was united in marriage to Donald R. Dickinson at Potosi First Assembly of God and they shared sixty-seven years together.

Those who remain to mourn her passing and cherish her memory include her husband, Don Dickinson; four children: Mary Pinson, Nova Drennen and husband Rick, Gary Dickinson and wife Loretta, Roger “Dink” Dickinson and wife Tammy; ten grandchildren: Amy Jo Pinson, Greg Dickinson and wife Pam, Matthew Dickinson and wife Ariel, Nikki Paul and husband Ethan, Ricky Drennen and wife Bobbi, Cody Dickinson, Devin Dickinson, Brittany Stinger and husband Josh, Ashley Dickinson, and Ethan Dickinson; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Winnie McMahan. June is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her father and mother, June was preceded in death by her son, Donald “Duke” Dickinson; son-in-law Joe Pinson; seven siblings: Juanita Sedgwick, Ruby Sago, Alberta Davis, Harvey Elbert Smith, Ralph Edward Smith, Earnest Smith, and Lester Gene Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ray and Virginia “Ma Gin” Dickinson.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm and Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9 to 11 am at DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11 am at DeClue Chapel.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
