Joseph Edward Fults, of Cadet, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the age of 84. Lovingly known as "Joe" and "Ed" by his family, he was born on July 17, 1941, a son of the late Raymond Edward Fults and Hilda Beatrice (Lalumondier) Fults. 

Joe grew up in Crystal City, Missouri, where he attended school. He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps before beginning his career with Chrysler, where he worked for several years. Later, Joe worked as a mechanic at a garage in Crystal City. For a time, he also made his home at the Lake of the Ozarks, where he enjoyed working on boats and docks.

Joe found great joy in spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking in the beauty of nature. He dearly loved his dogs and had a passion for collecting coins, always keeping an eye out for pieces that held value or a unique story.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children, Connie, Patricia, and Steven; his sister, Mary Lou Nausley; many dear grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wendel.

In keeping with Joe's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
