Jacqueline Pauline Warden, lovingly known as “Jackie,” passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on January 19, 1954, a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Wilkerson) Carter.

Jackie spent several years working at Brown Shoe Factory before going to work for Hazel Skaggs Insurance. She later accepted a secretary position with the law office of Brad Van Zee, where she remained until her retirement.

Jackie was a kind and caring person who had a heart for helping others. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time with her family. She loved reading books, particularly romance novels, and enjoyed fishing, Thursday night family dinners, and holiday gatherings. Jackie also had a special love for her cats, Scarlet and Hoover, who brought her much happiness and companionship.

Those who remain to cherish Jackie’s memory include her children, Hillary Mosier, Amber Renee Akers, and Daniel Wayne Warden & Kayla; grandchildren, Breanna Akers, Catie Napoli & Payton, Devon Warden, Skylar Warden, and Lane Warden; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Akers and Jensen Napoli; siblings, Danny Carter and Linda Crocker; mother-in-law, Sharon Warden; brothers-in-law, Mark Warden & Kelly, and Chris Warden & Julie; and sister-in-law, Tina Carter.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randy Warden; her daughter, Sarah Jane Akers; siblings, Francis Carter and Harold Carter; father-in-law, Eugene Warden; and sister-in-law, Vicki Carter.

Jackie will be remembered for her kind heart, her willingness to help others, and the love she had for her family. The memories she created with those she loved will remain in their hearts and be cherished for years to come.

In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.
