Helen Smith

Helen Lucille Smith of St James, Missouri, was born on May 28, 1936 in Chloride, Missouri, a daughter of the late Sim and Helen (Swaringim) Warren. Helen passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, having reached the age of 88.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her 2 grandsons: Shane Peterson (wife, Katie Swain), Todd Peterson; great grandchildren: Liam Peterson, Addisyn Swain, Skyelar Swain, and Teagan Swain; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Tharrell Lionel; second husband, Robert Smith; daughter, Norma Jean Greeno; brothers: Willard Warren, Armin Warren, Henry Gerard Warren; sisters: Lorene Farris, Dora Warren, Nanny Warren, and Minnie Marie Colyott.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of her Memorial Service at 12 p.m., officiated by Elder Joe Colyott.
