Emma Mallet

Emma Lou (Whitsitt) Mallet of Cadet, Missouri, formerly of Festus, Missouri, was born on February 13, 1939, in Kent, Indiana, a daughter of the late Hiram and Gladys (Cooperider) Whitsitt. Emma went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2022, having reached the age of eighty-three years, three months, and six days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: David Stoops (wife, Lynne), Linda Huelsing (husband, Timothy); grandchildren: Cheri Skief (Jamie Rudd), Alisa Stoops (Scotty Lewis), Danielle Stoops, Christina Stoops, Megan Fowler; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; father of her children, Bob Stoops; and nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Baker, and Eno Mallet; siblings: Dorothy Cutshall, Donald Whitsitt, James Whitsitt, Joann Cope, and Mary Chitwood.

A Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 1 to 3 pm at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, Missouri. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 3pm, officiated by Pastor Rick Posey.

Interment will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 10 am at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri.
