Donna Lea Isgrig of Caledonia, Missouri, was born on December 14, 1971, in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter of the late Donald Tiefenauer and Ellen (Phillingane) Tiefenauer. Donna went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2026, having reached the age of 54.
Throughout her life, Donna dedicated herself to her family, her career, and helping others. She worked in various positions over the years, including teaching elementary and pre-k school in the St. Louis area after obtaining her teaching degree from MAC and Central Methodist University. She later served as a Caseworker Supervisor for the Iron County Division of Family Services, where she continued her commitment to serving others.
Donna enjoyed many hobbies and activities that brought creativity and happiness to her life. She loved scrapbooking, crafting, and decorating for the seasons, finding joy in creating special touches that made a house feel like home. She also enjoyed camping with David and her family at many of Missouri’s state parks and making memories.
Family was at the heart of Donna’s life. She especially cherished having her family gathered together during the holidays, when time spent with loved ones meant so much to her. She was a proud and supportive maw-maw who enjoyed attending Dylan’s baseball games, cheering him on and sharing in his accomplishments. Above all, her great-grandson, Lathan, was the center of her world. The love she held for him was immeasurable.
Donna had a caring heart and genuinely enjoyed helping others. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and willingness to be there for those in need were important parts of who she was. She also held a special place in her heart for the Lord. During the time she lived nearby, Donna attended Hope Church in Caledonia, where she enjoyed praise and worship. Her faith was an important part of her life.
Those remaining to treasure Donna’s memory include her loving husband, David Isgrig; her son, Dylan Isgrig; her precious grandson, Lathan Isgrig; her three siblings, Amy Tiefenauer, Lucas Tiefenauer, and David Tiefenauer and his wife, Melanie; her father-in-law, Neal Isgrig; her brother-in-law, Andrew Isgrig; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her dear mother-in-law, Marcy Isgrig.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and continue until her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the DeClue Chapel. Pastors Mandi Robinson and Dale Stinger will officiate. Interment and final prayers will follow at Belleview Presbyterian Cemetery in Caledonia, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements have been respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home of Potosi. Though Donna will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the lives she touched will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
