On Sunday, December 21, 2025, the world was blessed, if only for a brief moment, with the presence of baby Destin Gem Ketcherside. Though his time with us was fleeting, the love he brought into the lives of his family is immeasurable. Destin went to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Destin was the cherished son of Wendy Cook and Devin Ketcherside; his brother, Damon Cook-Ketcherside; grandparents: Sherri Becker, Leonard Cook and Kyley, and Kim Rowden Rogers; great-grandparents, Dale and Kathy Vest, and Sue Cook; his aunts and uncles: Jamie Becker, Cameron Luh, Damion Luh, Hannah Cook, Evy Cook, Eddie Beth Rushing, Joseph Rogers, and Dedrick Ketcherside. He is also survived by many cousins and dear family members who will carry his spirit in their hearts.

Destin was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Gene Ketcherside and step grandfather, Marti Rogers.

Though Destin was here with us for only a moment, the impact of his presence will resonate for a lifetime, reminding us of the profound beauty found in love and the dreams we hold dear. Arrangements for Destin were respectfully cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
