Deloris Owens

Deloris Irene Owens of Potosi, Missouri was born on July 6, 1934, a daughter to the late Donald Worden and the late Goldie (Winfield) Worden. Deloris entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached eighty-five years of age.

In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Owens; two sons: Michael Owens and Dwayne "Click" Owens; son-in-law, Wayne McCarty; two siblings: Murphey Worden and Joseph Worden; two brothers-in-law: Lawrence Hull and Donnie Kearns; and special friend, Bob Hochstatter.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay McCarty; three sisters: Doris Hull, Janet Kearns and Connie (Larry) Sadler; four grandchildren: Shannon (Susan) McCarty, Kayle (Paul, Jr.) Turner, Shawn Owens and Nicole Gannon; six great-grandchildren: Savannah McCarty, Zachary Turner, Dylan Turner, Leslie Britton, Payton Crader and Preston Owens; great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Georgia Worden; daughter-in-law, Donna Owens; and many dear nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, December 1, 2019, beginning at 12:00 PM. A funeral service to honor Deloris will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Interment will be held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery following the service.
