Christy Plogger

Christy Ann Plogger of Rockbridge, IL, was born on November 29, 1970 in St Louis, MO, a daughter of David Gevermuehle and Sharon Pickett. Christy passed away on November 20, 2021, having reached the age of fifty years, eleven months, and twenty-two days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her parents, David Gevermuehle and Sharon Pickett; daughters, Nicole Gevermuehle (Significant other, Chris), and Destani Dettling (Significant other, Dylan); siblings: Tracy (Tim) Wilkerson, Sheila (James) Gough, Sharon Knichel (Fiancé, Jim), Kelly Adams, CJ Knichel (Significant other, Ashley), Michelle Knichel; step brother, Kenny; step sister, Angie; and special family friend, Mick Plogger. Christy is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Christy was preceded in death by her siblings: Dean Knichel, Rose Knichel, Jack Knichel III; brother-in-law, Bryan Adams; grandparents, John and Shirley Pickett, and Robert and Elsie Gevermuehle.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 2-4 pm at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664.

A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 4pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, officiated by Elder Mike Jarvis.
