Charles Dean

Charles William Dean, Jr of Potosi, Missouri, was born on August 30, 1951, in St Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Buck and Eula Dorothy (Radford) Dean. Charlie passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, having reached the age of 71.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Dean; children: Jennifer Isbell (Fiance, Ray Torres), Lori Clubb (ex-husband, Roger Clubb), Klaus Dean; grandchildren: Charlene Masson, Scott Geyer, Dakota Masson, Aaliyah Fowler, Timmy Fowler, Roger Clubb II, Jessey James Dean; siblings: Darlene Coffman, Christine Henson (husband, William), Pauline Dean (John), Theresa Lawson (husband, Sterling). Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his siblings: Paul Ray Dean Sr, Donald Dean, Joe Dean, and Arlene Sue Willet.

Saying that Charlie loved the outdoors would be an understatement. He loved to hunt, teaching his kids to fish early on in life, and going to the creek catching crawdads with them. He enjoyed going to the horse races, and would frequently travel to the Fairmount Park Race Track in Illinois. He also enjoyed gardening and working on his vehicles.

Visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2023, from 4:30 to 8 pm held at DeClue Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 27, at 10 am in the DeClue Chapel, officiated by Pastor Lloyd Pierce. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri,
