Carla Smith

Carla Jean Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born on October 13, 1975 in St Louis, Missouri, a daughter to Karl Smith, and the late Brenda Kay Smith. Carla passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, having reached the age of 48.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her father, Karl Smith; son, Caleb Cross; and brother, Ryan Smith. Carla also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Carla was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Horace and Mabel Smith; maternal grandparents: Glen and Betty Smith; and other dear relatives.

Carla loved to listen to all types of music, but the 80’s were her favorite. She adored her son, Caleb, as well as all of her other family. Carla truly enjoyed family gatherings during the holidays. In past times, Carla looked forwarded to going fishing with her dad until her health declined. She liked drawing, crossword puzzles, cooking with her mom, Brenda, and playing cards with her grandma and great-grandma. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 3 p.m. until the time of her Memorial Service at 5 p.m., officiated by Elder Mike Jarvis.
