Brenda Kean

Brenda Faye Kean of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born on November 10, 1960 in St Ann, Missouri, a daughter of the late Elvis and Ruby (Pyatt) Warren. Brenda went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 6, 2023, having reached the age of 62.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Wesley Kean; daughter, Jessica Henderson (husband, Joey); grandchildren: Blake Haynes, Alyah Haynes; siblings: Connie Sabastian, Steve Warren (wife, Ursula); sisters-in-law: Nancy Zettler (husband, Joe), Debbie McMahan (husband, Vernon), Brandy Jones (husband, Lance); brothers-in-law, Lloyd Kean (wife, Michelle), Harry Wampler; and close friend for 50 years, Alina Thornberg (husband, Doug). Brenda is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her siblings: Sheila Warren, Joyce Wampler, Dana Perkins; grandparents: Robert and Sarah Warren, and James and Rose Pyatt.

Brenda loved the Lord very much, and was a member of Bismarck Assembly of God. Her family used to have a gospel group, the Warren Family, where she played the drums. Brenda was a nurse's aide and loved taking care of the elderly for around 40 years. She was also a loving and caring mother. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, camping, swimming, attending church, and being with friends and family. She is going to be missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2023, from 11 am until the time of her service at 1pm, held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. Pastor Mike Barton Jr will officiate her service. Interment and final prayers will be held in the New Diggins Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to DeClue Funeral Home in care of her service.
