Barbara Montgomery

Barbara Ellen Montgomery of St. Louis, Missouri was born on May 20, 1938 in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter to the late Jones Orr and the late Sarah (Aldridge) Orr. On June 30, 1956, Barbara was united in marriage to Roger Montgomery and they shared fifty-two years together.

Barbara passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Green Park Assisted Living Community having reached eighty-two years of age.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Montgomery; and twelve siblings.

Survivors include two children: Marty (Judy) Montgomery and Dave (Merry Kay) Montgomery; three grandchildren: Rich Montgomery, Kevin Montgomery and Cara Montgomery; two great-grandchildren: Richard Montgomery and Casey Montgomery; also surviving are a host of dear nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 AM. A funeral service to honor Barbara will begin at 1:00 PM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.
